There
are actually quite a few rumors about Perfect Dark and its sequel going
around. Some of these are based on facts and others not. If you want to
find out which is which, take a look at them yourself.
Nudity Code
Sorry
to burst your bubble, but there is no nudity code in Perfect Dark. They
never put that stuff in consoles.
Push Button Codes
This
one is a maybe but there is a large chance that it is true. Goldeneye had
them, so PD should have them too. Recent
questions directed at Rare on PBC's have been avoided.
Hidden Multiplayer
Levels
There
is no confirmation on this one yet, but Rare has slipped a few things out
that suggest there are secret levels. Rare will probably release this information
when they reveal the push button codes. The picture was found in a magazine:
Unfortunately, this picture
is fake but that still doesn't prove that there are not more classic levels.
After Dark
There
is a sequel to Perfect Dark coming in Fall 2001 along with the launch of
GameCube. Rare has reserved both afterdark.com and velvetdark.com, so one
of these could be the title. This is also about the time that Microsoft
launches its console, the X-Box, so expect After Dark or whatever it is
to be better than ever! Although Rare claims that it will be a launch title,
it is unlikely that this will happen since Perfect Dark only came out last
year.
