With almost every game there is a way for the player to advance with little effort by using cheats or codes, and Perfect Dark is no exception. In PD and Goldeneye, Rare has created a unique system which allows the player to cheat, but not accomplish anything such as beating a level. These cheats are earned by getting a good time on certain levels and this information is provided below. Rare's system of cheating will become obsolete with the release of PBC's, or push button codes (if they do release them and if they're in the game). 
 
 

DK Mode 
This cheat enlarges your adversary's heads and lengthens their arms to resemble monkeys. This one can be quite hilarious at times but unfortunately, can't make your enemies any stupider than they already are. Maybe if you offer them some bananas they'll go away! 

Small Jo 
This cheat shrinks Joanna to the size of an action figure who's nickname is G.I. Jo. 

Small Characters 
Tired of being the only one the size of a kiwi? Then use this cheat to make your adversaries the same size as Small Jo. 

Team Heads Only 
If you want to get back at the people at Rare who are hiding those push button codes then this cheat is what you need. It replaces each of your enemy's heads with those of the Rare developement team. 

Play As Elvis 
If you really like those grey midgets that call themselves midgets, use this cheat to become one of them. You still use Jo's voice and the cinemas are screwed up but atleast it'll get you laughing! 

Slo-Mo Single Player 
If you're a fan of the Matrix, then this cheat is right up your alley. It slows the game's pace to less than half of the norm which gives you greater reflexes but more painfully slow deaths. 

Invincible 
One of everyone's favourites, the invincible cheat renders you completely invulnerable to all attacks. Watch out for those dark pits for they can still kill you. 

Cloaking Device 
Want to sneak up unnoticed behind a guard then shoot him before he knew what hit him? Turn this cheat on and you get a cloaking device which gives you 120 seconds of invisibility, until you fire your weapon. 

Marquis of Queensbury Rules 
Stupid guns, who wants them? That must have been the attitude of the creator of this cheat because it denies enemies from using their weapons!  

Jo Shield 
If you don't have the invincibility cheat on, then you might as well go with this cheat which gives you a 100% health bonus in the form of a shield. 

Super Shield 
If the regular shield just doesn't cut it, turn this cheat on to get more than double the power of a normal shield. 

Enemy Shields 
If you really want a challenge beyond Perfect Agent, turn on this cheat to give every enemy a shield. Talk about tough stuff! 

Enemy Rockets 
Just like in Goldeneye, this cheat gives your adversaries Rocket Launchers. You must be nuts to use this one. 

Perfect Darkness 
If you want to live out the bat in you, enable this cheat to put every level into complete darkness. You get Night Vision Goggles to help you out. You didn't think Rare would send you into pitch-black without a light, now did you?

Classic Sight 
Are you a fan of the crosshair from Goldeneye? Use this cheat to allow you access to it with the Perfect Dark weapons. 

Unlimited Ammo - Laptop Gun 
This cheat is for all those players who love to set up sentry turrets. It won't stop until all of the enemies have dropped! 

Hurricane Fists 
If you can imagine Joanna as a super boxer then you can imagine this cheat. Jo's fists go three times faster than normal turning her into a dangerous weapon. 

Unlimited Ammo 
Put all of your ammo troubles away with this cheat. It turns your supply of ammunition into the bottomless barrel of ammo so you will never run out. Unfortunately, this cheat does not work with the Psychosis Gun. 

Unlimited Ammo - No Reloads 
Just like the previous cheat, but without reloads. Very cheap but kinda fun in its own way. 

X-Ray Scanner 
Not really a weapon even though it's in the catagory. This item uses X-rays to allow you to see through walls. 

R-Tracker / Weapon Cache Locations 
This is an item that directs you to the secret weapons on each stage using a small radar. Certainly helpful if you haven't found them all yet. 

Velvet Dark (buddy) 
This is your standard partner packing a measly Falcon 2. Not the best, but better than nothing. 

Pugilist (buddy) 
This guy is a kung-fu master who uses only his fists and feet in combat. This sim usually dies in the first few minutes of a mission because they're so weak. Two thumbs down. 

Hotshot 
One of your friends from the Institute, this guard carries both a DY357 and DY357-LX... at the same time! 

Hit and Run 
Packing a K7 Avenger, these Mr. Blonde look-a-likes don't mess around. Their accuracy and power make them a valuable ally. 

Alien 
This Maian is definately the best out of all the buddies. It is a small target, fast, accurate, and to top it off, carries an RC-P120. Amazing!
